As part of this year’s FORMAT festival we’ll be exhibiting photography and film exploring this year’s festival theme ‘CONFLICTED’ – Photography here at LCB Depot and Film at Phoenix.
Exhibitions
The LCB Depot exhibition, curated by Leicester Lo-Fi will be open weekdays 11am-5pm from Monday March 3rd to Thursday April 17th (+ when open for events).
The Phoenix exhibition will be open from April 11th to July 25th.
Phoenix is open Monday 12noon – 11pm, Tues & Weds CLOSED, Thursday & Friday 12noon – 11pm, Saturday 11am- 11pm, Sunday 11am- 8.30pm

Saturday March 29th, 10.15am FORMAT festival trip with Leicester Lo-Fi. Come join us for a tour of the Format 25 Photography Festival in Derby on Sat 29th March.
For those of you who wish to take the train from Leicester station we are meeting at 10.15am in the ticket hall to get the 10.37 to Derby.
Alternatively if you want to make your own way to Derby we will meet outside Quad at 11.30am. The festival is spread over several sites though-out Derby so the plan is to wander site to site and grab some lunch on the way. Thurs April 10th, 9.15- 10.30am Abstracting Shapes from Photographs to Create Paintings, with Alice Todd. This workshop is for people who do not usually paint. The workshop will allow you to try something new and creative and you will have the opportunity to create a painting based on the process that Alice uses when she creates paintings.
