Digital 2024

12th – 26th January – New Generations

As we kick off 2024, the LCB Creative Programme begins with New Generations, an exploration into art, maths and the processes that artists employ to create intricate and surprising computational artwork.

The exhibition is a mixture of historical generative artworks, each exploring early algorithms, ideas and interactions with computers that have gone on to shape modern media. Through support from New Media Art Club and Arts Council England will support three emerging local artists to explore these works themselves and create newly commissioned artwork as the centrepiece for the exhibition.

Open weekdays 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday. To see the exhibition outside of working hours see our event opening times below. You can also follow the season on social media @lcbdepot with regular artists profiles and event info posts
