Leicestershire Shared Reading and Leicestershire Libraries are looking for volunteers to help run their successful ‘Make Friends with a Book’ shared reading groups in Ashby, Oadby, Wigston and Blaby.
If you enjoy reading for pleasure, if you think you would be confident reading out loud to a group, and if you are interested in people and their stories, come and find out more at the Information Morning in the Garden Room at LCB Depot.
Join them from 10.00– 11.00am to experience a shared reading group for yourself, and drop in any time before 1.00pm to meet volunteers, ask questions, have a cuppa and learn about what’s involved. Find out how rewarding being a trained volunteer Reader Leader can be!
