A single artwork by Jack Shotbolt won the LCB Depot Prize at Leicester’s New Walk Museum’s Open 24 exhibition, which was on show 2nd Feb – 7th April 2013.
Jack will be exhibiting new works from the Warp and Weft, Heaven’s Gate, and Dementia Days series. He will be showing a selection of recent paintings, most of which will have been completed in the last few months. The studio working processes are clearly demanding of both time and labour, and, as a consequence, the paintings have a focused, “hard won” quality about them.
