Join Jo Keogh for a creative pottery session at Makers’ Yard, where you can develop your creative ideas and explore the possibilities of working with clay.
This is a flexible ceramics workshop in which students will be encouraged to develop their own ideas and styles of making. It is suitable for any level of ability from beginners to pottery or those who have some understanding of ceramic processes. There will also be the chance to have a go on a potter’s wheel.
After making your piece there is a process of drying, firing and glazing which takes between 4-6 weeks.
The 6-hour sessions will run on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30-4.30.
The cost is £40 per person per day. There will be a material charge of £5 per kg of clay used.
Places are limited, so booking and pre-payment is required to secure your place. Email jo@jokeoghceramics.co.uk for further details and booking.
