Come and join Dr Cathi Rae for a relaxed but structured half day workshop, with lots of inclusive and accessible writing prompts – try your hand at creating your own poetry, short story or any form of creative writing. The morning will focus on fun and practical activities aimed at anyone who is creative writing curious ( absolutely NO previous experience required) and there will be time to share work and to celebrate our first steps in growing our creative voices.
Cathi Rae is a poet and spoken word artist who has performed throughout the UK. She teaches creative writing to learners of all ages and all levels of experience. She has taught at De Montfort University and the University of Leicester. She has an MA in creative writing and a PhD in poetry and has been widely published with two collections, two poetry pamphlets under her belt and is currently working a collection of short stories.
