Chloë Elizabeth Talbot Kelly is respected worldwide as one of our best bird illustrators. Chloë started painting at The Natural History Museum, London in 1945, and was a founder member of the Society of Wildlife Artists.
This retrospective exhibition features her work for numerous guidebooks from the past seven decades.
She is currently writing her memoirs, and writing and illustrating another book on the bird species of Europe.
This exhibition has been co-curated by Chloe’s son Alex Talbot Smith and Dr Maria Collingham. Maria has exhibited widely herself and her works are held in national and international collections, having earned various awards.
She is currently lecturing part time at The University of Leicester and is a practicing fine artist and tutor at various art and educational establishments.
