Summer seems to be continuing! So, one again, we’d like you to get out of the sun, and come inside for another caffeine fuelled Creative Coffee!
This month Creative Coffee, LCB Depot and The Mighty Creatives are coming together for an extra special Creative Coffee session to encourage anyone and everyone to get writing. Together we will host a 7 minute freewriting session which will challenge you to write a story, poem or thought piece over 7 minutes without stopping or taking your pen from the paper. We will provide the stimulus and you will do the rest.
And that’s not all, as always we’ve got the usual blend of creative chat, discussion and coffee, so event if you’re not feeling brave enough to write, we’ve still got something for you.
And thanks to our partners at Gray’s Cafe you can also enjoy a 10% discount on all hot drinks. We’ll give you a voucher coupon once you arrive to use at the bar. Though you can always try making one of your own.

Everyone has a story to tell…
National Writing Day is an annual celebration of writing designed to inspire people across the UK to get writing. Our message is simple: everyone has a story to tell and sharing it can be a source of pleasure and power.
On 27th June 2018, we will aim to inspire creative writing on a grand scale—young people are more inclined to write creatively if they see adults around them doing so and writing can benefit people of all ages. We welcome participation from any individual or group, regardless of age, gender, and cultural or economic backgrounds. Our aim is to promote all forms of writing and encourage communities to join in.
