Make Your Own Way is a new workspace bursary from LCB Depot for creative people with new business ideas. 

It is designed to give emerging creatives the space, support, and flexibility they need to grow and to test their enterprise through gradually introducing workspace costs and providing access to opportunities, support and creative networks.

The offer

Workspace bursary- phased workspace costs over 2 years

• 0-6 months £0 
• 6-12 months £350 +VAT for 6 months (or through monthly payments)
• 12-18 months £700 +VAT (or through monthly payments)
• 18-24th £1050 +VAT (or through monthly payments)

(includes service charge, electricity, broadband. The workspace is unfurnished)

• Work with with LCB’s Workspace Development Manager to review progress

How to Apply

Spaces are limited and applicants must write an proposal which demonstrates that although early stage, there is a clear plan over two years to become viable, and addresses our criteria below

We are inviting propositions from interested parties. 

These should be 200-300 words in length.

Please provide, in your own words

• A clear business idea
• A summary the steps and stages to bring the business idea forward over two years
• Initial identification of your customers
• A simple outline of how you will achieve commerciality and financial viability over the two years of the residency here.  We ask you to consider.
• A realistic description of your overheads
• A projection for income and sales
