Based around Orton Square in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, the St George’s Festival is an annual family-friendly outdoor festival held on or around St George’s Day.
Featuring live music, dance, performances, themed street arts and walk-about characters the festival promises a day of non-stop entertainment for all the family.

12noon – 4pm: be inspired by Precious Flora, an art work installation in the LCB Depot gallery, made from hundreds of flowers and natural objects from Leicester’s countryside.
Make your own mobile inspired by nature with our drop-in family workshop (suitable for 4+ years).
1.30pm – 3.30pm: traditional folk music ‘have a go’ session with Music Foundry tutors, all skill levels and instruments welcome.
Plus, Make & Take workshops and demonstrations from 12-4pm at Makers’ Yard at 82-86 Rutland Street. Admission free, some small charges may apply to workshops.
At LCB Depot and Makers’ Yard – Dragon Hunt Competition : using the special map, be guided to key locations in the Cultural Quarter (including LCB Depot and Makers’ Yard) to find the hidden dragons.
